LIGALI: Receiving the highest number of awards at the 2018 JCI Nigeria National Convention credited to the effort of the 2018 JCI Ikeja Team while I was the Local Organization President.
EMAGES: How did you achieve it?
LIGALI: This was achieved with the support of my members, although many didn’t see the picture from the beginning, however, a lot of the joined along the line because the goal became clearer with the story telling activities.
EMAGES: How would you deal with criticism and complain against you?
LIGALI: Naturally, as a human being, we seldom get angry at critics but I enjoy criticism, it makes me stronger and allows me to make a change, I do less without critics around me, so I mostly create an avenue to have people criticize what I intend to do then I do all possible best to make a difference.
EMAGES: Do you consider yourself successful, if yes to what length?
LIGALI: Success can only be attributed to a dead person, so far am still on earth, I believe am still working towards being successful because it is a journey for me but I can count the success stories to this point. I don’t believe in failure and I state most times that it doesn’t exist because everything I do that men may regard as a failure is a mirror of how better I should have done it, so, therefore, am still striving for more success stories and solutions for mankind.
EMAGES: How would you describe your management style?
LIGALI: Thanks to my experience with JCI Trainings, I am not a stereotyped manager, I use different styles at a different point in time, from Consultative style to Laissez-faire or Autocratic style depending on the situation we all found ourselves and the approach to the task.
EMAGES: Can you consider yourself as an entrepreneur? If yes, what has being your greatest achievements?
LIGALI: Yes, I am 100% an entrepreneur and I believe so much in economic justice, I have never worked for anyone till now because I enjoy creating employment for more people and my greatest achievement was when I won the IBM West Africa Challenge in 2011 alongside 5 others.
EMAGES: How do you balance your work life with other obligation as an entrepreneur person?
LIGALI: Another skill I have learned along the line is the ability to multi-task and as well understand the importance of priority, I find time to separate business from pleasure but I must confess it is not easy, most web developers hardly have time for social life but I create time for everything that makes my life not too boring, I find time to swim, I find time every Wednesday to visit the cinema, I create time for voluntary service, I create time for my friends and families, I still have good ties with my secondary school alumni and my other societies I belong too
EMAGES: Are you a leader? If yes, then can you tell us the major characteristics of a charismatic leader?
LIGALI: For me, a leader is anyone that can influence, motivate, inspire and guide others to achieve the desired goal, I have so many young people looking up to me, I create time to inspire them although mostly through virtual communication because of activities but we often meet at times. This can qualify me as a leader because I can count nothing less than 20 of them that are doing great in the chosen profession after our discussion several years back. Most of them are also in my line of business
EMAGES: What is the type of things that makes you angry?
LIGALI: LIES! LIES!! GOSSIP!!! My father thought me how to stand for truth always, while I was growing he frowns and scolds me each time he comes home and I tried to change my ongoing activity to something that will make him happy with me, he prefers you keep up with whatever you are doing behind him even to his face and this I grew with, openness of mind is key and anything you do otherwise get me angry, I prefer you tell it to me than to say it behind me.
EMAGES: How do you spend your free time?
LIGALI: I visit the CINEMAs to see movies. Sometimes I do marathon movies.
EMAGES: How would you see yourself?
LIGALI: I see myself as a young man striving to make the world a better place for everyone that comes around me.
